Dr. Riley earned his medical degree from Duke University Medical School in Durham, North Carolina. His postgraduate training included a residency in Internal Medicine, also at Duke University Medical School, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr. Riley also completed a Certificate of Medical Management at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Lipidology.
Dr. Riley has more than 47 years of experience in the practice of cardiology. Most recently, he practiced at Gulf Coast Cardiology in Pensacola where he offered a full range of non-invasive, non-interventional cardiology services.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Heart Association and the Society of Geriatric Cardiology. Dr. Riley has participated in a number of medical trials and has been published in several professional journals and periodicals.
