Dr. Phillips earned his medical degree from Yale Medical School in New Haven, Connecticut. His postgraduate training included a residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a Fellowship in Clinical Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Laboratory at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He served as the Director of Invasive Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic and Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Internal Medicine for both Internal Medicine and Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease, Diplomat of Flex Examiners and the National Board of Clinical Lipidology. Dr. Phillips has published a number of studies and gives CME lectures at outside institutions and National Meetings at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Phillips’ specialties include cardiac catheterization, PTCA and stent, lipid expert, coronary and valvular abnormalities, lipid abnormalities, heart failure and hypertension with special interest in coronary atherosclerosis, lipid and heart function abnormalities.
