Dr. Behari is a specialist in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine with a special emphasis in diabetes management. He earned his medical degree from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. Following medical school, he completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He completed his Residency training at Howard University District of Columbia General Hospital in Washington, D.C. where he was named Chief Resident. Dr. Behari also completed an Endocrinology Fellowship at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
During his medical training, Dr. Behari was the recipient of a number of honors, including the Resident of the Year Award and the C.V. Mosby Book Prize in Medical Microbiology.
Dr. Behari was in private practice in Louisiana prior to moving to the Pensacola area in 2007.
