Usha Agarwal, M.D. is Board Certified in Infectious Disease, andreceived her Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College, Indore, India in 1982.
Thereafter, she interned in India (1982 – 1983) and immigrated to the United States in 1984. In 1988, Dr. Agarwal began a general medicine internship at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, and volunteered her services at Harlem Hospital Center. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Agarwal entered an infectious disease fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Agarwal has been in private practice since 1993.
Dr. Agarwal specializes in infectious diseases at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. She belongs to the PascoMedicalSociety and Access 2 Health Care IPA. She derives great satisfaction from patient care and the feeling that she eases patients’ fears. In her spare time, Dr. Agarwal enjoys gardening and family activities, and is the proud mom of two Harvard University graduates.
