Dr. Cleveland attended Tulane University School of Medicine and subsequently completed a four-year residency in Internal Medicine. He practiced Internal Medicine primarily in Pensacola at the beginning of his medical career up until 1990. At that time, he completed a two-year fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at East Carolina School of Medicine. He then returned to Pensacola to start his own allergy and immunology practice.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board certified inAllergy & Immunology by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians
Dr. Cleveland teaches medical students through his role as Clinical Assistant Professor of the Florida State University School of Medicine. He is on the speaker bureau of several pharmaceutical companies and trains other physicians in the use of the latest allergy and asthma medicines.
