Volker Kropp, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Chile in Santiago, Chile. He continued his education with an academic fellowship in surgery and pathology at the University of Chile Hospital, San Juan de Dois. He completed his surgical residency in Boston, Massachusetts and served as Chief Resident at New England Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Surgical Services. Dr. Kropp was certified by The American Board of Surgery in 1988. Dr. Kropp also boasts an academic resume which includes time at the University of Chile, School of Medicine in Santiago, Chile; as an assistant instructor and Clinical fellow in surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Since moving to New Hampshire, Dr. Kropp has enhanced held numerous leadership positions including Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at Parkland Medical Center. He also has served on the Board of Trustees at Parkland Medical Center. Dr. Kropp feels that high quality medical care requires getting to know his patients and their individual healthcare needs. He spends extensive one-on-one time to ensure that patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
