James C. Vailas, MD is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in sports medicine, and shoulder and knee reconstructions. Dr. Vailas graduated medical school from Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover, New Hampshire. He interned and did his residency at George Washington University Medical Center, Washington, D.C. He completed his fellowship in sports medicine at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, Inglewood, California and did a traveling fellowship for pediatrics at St. Sophia�s Children�s Hospital, Athens, Greece. Dr. Vailas was voted Top Sports Medicine doctor and Top Orthopaedic Surgeon by New Hampshire Magazine. He is the team physician for the Manchester Monarchs, St. Anselm College, and Southern New Hampshire University.
