Bio:

Dr. Sievers is a Board Certified Internist joining our Hematology and Oncology Center, an Appledore Medical Group Practice. She completed her Fellowship in Infectious Disease and Hematology and Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Sievers has a keen interest in global health, and as such, designed and implemented cancer treatment programs and care systems in rural Rwanda, Malawi and Haiti. She also worked closely with the Rwandan Ministry of Health implementing cervical and breast cancer screening and care. When she isn’t practicing medicine, Dr. Sievers studied and plays the Viola, receiving a Masters in Music from Yale University, and plays with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra.
